They have great spirit and higher than average endurance and are used in saddle seat, western or advanced dressage.

Quarter Horse
An American breed, the quarter horse is certainly the most popular in the US. Known to be very fast on short distances, they are often used in competitions or for western pleasure riding. They are also used for hunting in certain parts of America.

Thoroughbred

Tennessee Walker
This horse breed was developed in the US around the 18th century to be used on plantations and farms. Their four-beat walk makes them ideal for comfortable riding on long distances. Morgan

Paint
Another American breed, the paint breed gets its name from an interesting combination of spots and colors. And just like the quarter horse, paints are often used in western disciplines or pleasure mounts.

Appaloosa
A tough and independent breed, the Appaloosa has a big body and a sparse tail. They’re often used as stock horses and also make excellent trail horses.

Andalusian
A breed that originates in Spain, the Andalusian is strong, elegant, and compact making them perfect for dressage, saddle seat or even jumping.
