This Thursday, Nad Al Sheba will host Super Thursday, the dress rehearsal for the world’s richest day of racing, the Dubai World Cup, and the concluding fixture of the Dubai International Racing Carnival.
The Dubai Racing Club is delighted to announce that Shadwell Farm will be sponsoring the meeting, which promises to be the best night’s racing so far this season, and a fitting prelude to the Dubai World Cup meeting on March 28th.
Dubai Racing Club is excited to again enjoy the support of this world-renowned breeding operation, owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Mr Frank Gabriel, CEO of the Dubai Racing Club said: “The Dubai International Racing Carnival is certainly finishing on a real high, and I am delighted that Shadwell Farm, our valued and long-term partner, is part of that. We are truly indebted to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his generous support.
“We believe Super Thursday is regarded as the most important meeting of the Carnival, as it features seven races which mirrors those that will be run on Dubai World Cup day. It is the last chance for horses to put their cases forward for the richest day’s racing in the world.”
Shadwell Farm’s Vice-President and General Manager Rick Nichols added: “It is once again a tremendous honor to represent His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Shadwell Farm Kentucky in sponsoring another night of racing at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse.
“We thoroughly enjoy the partnership that we have developed over the years with both Nad Al Sheba Racecourse and the Dubai Racing Club. We look forward to another exciting night of racing.”
Thursday’s meeting offers a number of hospitality options available to suit all tastes and budgets in both the Millennium Grandstand and the Maktoum Grandstand.
Off the track, the Dubai Racing Club will be hosting the third and final BurJuman Fillies & Fashion event– the Super Thursday edition.
Tickets are priced at just AED430 per person and include food, beverages and entertainment.
Entrance to the public area of the racecourse is free of charge and there are also complimentary transfers to and from Nad Al Sheba from Dubai Marina (by Spinneys), Arabian Ranches (Shopping complex), Wafi (in front of Pyramids) and Emirates Towers (Boulevard entrance by Cartier).
