Richard Fourie Confirms July Mount

Richard Fourie confirmed his July mount with his sponsors publication on Monday morning.

The Snaith team also announced that Fourie would be riding their 1900 winner Future Swing.

Fourie earlier described to SAHorseracing.COM that Legislate was the best horse he ever sat on and he won the 2014 July on that mount along with Do It Again in 2019 and the well weighted Belgarian in 2021.

Fourie confirmed his mount only on Sunday after weekends racing and made the announcement today to his stable. Future Swing is a 12/1 shot with most bookmakers and may shorted as the news spreads.

With Green With Envy, See It Again, Oriental Charm and Flag Man all taken, Fourie's next best would have been this horse outside of any wild cards being thrown into the mix at the last minute.
