The Mick Channon trained two-year-old filly FLASHY WINGS continued the
extraordinary winning streak of Tattersalls graduates when winning the Group 2
Queen Mary Stakes. The ZAFONIC filly out of the LOMOND mare LOVEALOCH was
purchased at Part 2 of the 2004 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Gill
Richardson, and was the third Tattersalls sold two-year-old winner at Royal
Ascot at York from the three two-year-old contests run over the first two days.
FLASHY WINGS was Channon`s third winner of the Queen Mary and preserved her
unbeaten record with an impressive 3 length win over another Tattersalls
yearling purchase SALUT D`AMOUR. FLASHY WINGS was sold from Tweenhills Farm at
the 2003 Tattersalls December Foal Sale for 26,000 guineas, where she was
purchased by McKeever St Lawrence, and was consigned to Part 2 of the
Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by Flat House Stud.
Earlier in the afternoon the Jeremy Noseda trained three-year-old

generation with a comfortable win from a wretched draw in the Group 3 Jersey
Stakes. The KING`S BEST colt out of SHAMARRA was purchased at Part 1 of the
2003 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale by John Ferguson for 84,000 guineas.
Consigned by Swordlestown Stud, PROCLAMATION is one of no less than seven
Tattersalls sold winners over the first two days of Royal Ascot at York.
