Three-year-olds are leading the Cartier Horse of the Year standings, with City Of Troy and Porta Fortuna claiming the top spots. City Of Troy, trained by Aidan O'Brien, surged ahead after his Derby and Eclipse wins, amassing 96 points. Porta Fortuna, with 88 points, impressed by winning the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket's July Festival.
Rosallion, initially leading the Horse of the Year and Three-Year-Old Colt categories after his Royal Ascot victories, has been overtaken by City Of Troy. Porta Fortuna, trained by Joseph O'Brien, now leads the Three-Year-Old Filly division, surpassing Oaks winner Ezeliya, who has been retired due to injury.
In the Cartier Sprinter standings, Mill Stream tops the list after his victory in the Group 1 July Cup. Queen Anne winner Charyn leads the Older Horse category, while Auguste Rodin and Rebel's Romance aim for strong performances in the King George. In the Cartier Stayer category, Double Major has joined the contenders after winning the Prix Maurice de Nieuil, with Kyprios and Trawlerman leading the division.
