NHA Chief has NOT resigned

The National Horseracing Authority have issued a statement on their social media stating that their CEO has not resigned, contrary to reports on certain forms of media. Both the organization and the CEO have been under pressure after the much publicized TCO2 findings on the past few weeks.

They released the following statement..

PLEASE NOTE: There have been various social media reports recently, claiming that Vee Moodley, the Chief Executive of the NHA has resigned.  This is absolutely not true - Mr Moodley has not resigned nor intimated in any way that he wishes to leave the NHA.  The National Board continues to support the Chief Executive and his executive team and staff in their efforts to protect the integrity of horseracing and to enforce the Rules and Constitution of the NHA.
