Te Akau Racing has officially announced that Imperatriz, the world's highest-rated mare according to the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings, will be auctioned at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. With an impressive record of 10 Group 1 victories, Imperatriz's sale is expected to make significant waves in the racing industry globally.

David Ellis CNZM, principal of Te Akau Racing, expressed his confidence in Imperatriz's exceptional talent and track record, highlighting her unmatched achievements in 2023. Her outstanding performance has earned her titles such as New Zealand's Champion 3YO of the Year and Champion Sprinter/Miler of the Year.

Barry Bowditch, Managing Director of Magic Millions, expressed the company's honor in presenting Imperatriz as an elite breeding prospect. He praised her remarkable career and described her as an electrifying racehorse, emphasizing her status as the world's best race mare.

In conclusion, David Ellis CNZM reflected on Imperatriz's extraordinary journey, acknowledging her owners' pride in her legacy and the profound impact she has had on the racing community. As Imperatriz embarks on her next chapter, Te Akau Racing expresses gratitude for the opportunity to have her represent their team.
