The Kevin Shea ridden Diana's Choice (Image: DRC/Watkins) cruised to another easy Dubai Racing Carnival win and staked her claim as one of the better filly sprinters currently campaigning in the rich Emirate.
This second win was particularly impressive as she sat just off the pace and pounced at the 300m pole to win well.
The 1300m race brought the owner of the Windrush (USA) out Fly To The Stars (SAF) by Desert Team (USA) filly the majority of the USD 120 000 cheque.
Strategic News put in another bold performance in the 2000m turf race of the night with a runner-up finish in his race. He was beaten a head at the wire after running on strongly at the business end of the event and fought hard with the ultimate winner but could not shake him off.
