Sarsden Stud heads to the 2026 KZN Yearling Sale with a draft packed with pedigree, performance, and proven sire power.
Among the highlights is Salimah Warrior (Lot 97), a daughter of the red-hot Cape Guineas winner Act Of War, whose excellent 2025-26 season has been underlined by the exploits of G1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic and G2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas heroine Hazy Dazy, as well as exciting performers U S Ranger, Love Not War and Victory In Orleans.
Bred on an outstanding female line, Salimah Warrior is a half-sister to two winners and is out of the winning Trippi mare Salimah. The latter is a full-sister to G1 SA Nursery runner-up Ziparana and a half-sister to high-class Dubai performer Zanzamar, making this filly an attractive prospect for both racing and future broodmare value.
Another standout in the draft is Sarsden Dawn (Lot 127), a son of Chimichuri Run. The Grade 1-winning son of Trippi has made an encouraging start with his first runners, and Sarsden Dawn boasts plenty of appeal on pedigree. He is a half-brother to a seven-time winner and is out of a three-time winning half-sister to G3 winner Crowd Pleaser, from a family that has enjoyed considerable success in North America.
The Sarsden draft also includes Levi Magic (Lot 24), a colt by Willow Magic out of a four-time winning daughter of Gimmethegreenlight, while Lot 67, an Eden Roc colt, hails from a family packed with black-type quality. His granddam captured the G2 The Fillies Nursery, Listed Ruffian Stakes and Listed Gardenia Handicap.
Buyers can inspect the Sarsden Stud yearlings in Blocks G and H at Suncoast Casino, Durban, ahead of the 2026 KZN Yearling Sale.
