RACE 1: MAIDEN JUVENILE PLATE 1100M

Kings Troop (Brown) was quick to break the line. Oriental Lites (Miller) and Catcha Call (Phillips) showed pace. Honey Rush (Pat & Mike Riley) and Let It Bee (Rice) were in behind them and they had four lengths to make up. Kings Troop was two lengths clear with 400m to go and he was looking very hard to beat. Kings Troop was three lengths in front at the 200m pole and now it was race over. Kings Troop won the race very easily from start to finish from Let It Bee and then came Nottingham (Miller). RACE 2: MAIDEN PLATE (F&M) 1200M

Superior Green (Denysschen) hit the ground running. Excellent Money (Whitehead) and Dance With Destiny (Lunn) showed good early toe. Way To Walk (Rivalland) and Queen Of Green (Campbell) were in behind them and they were five lengths behind the leader. Superior Green was a length in front at the 400m mark and she looked in trouble. Queen Of Green came home well and she hit the front at the 200m pole and she went away to win very easily by three lengths from Dance With Destiny and then came Summer Matinee (Kumaran Naidoo). RACE 3: MAIDEN PLATE (F&M) 2000M

Victoria`s Gate (Watkinson) lost many lengths. Burka (Pat & Mike Riley) was out well. Bella`s Trist (Roberts) and Key Of Luck (Bestel) were up there. Dancing Vista (Pat & Mike Riley) and Winning Bid (Bruss) were further back and six lengths off the lead. Burka was two lengths in front as they went through the 1000m zone and she went at a good pace. Burka was four lengths in front as the jockey attempted to steal a march at the 400m pole. With 200m to go she was only a length clear of Check In Time (Bestel) who ran on well. Check In Time won going away from Winning Bid and then came Burka. Check In Time is by Anytime out of a Prontisimo mare, Any Port. Trainer: Corrine Bestel. Breeder: Clifton Stud. RACE 4: MAIDEN PLATE 2000M

Desert Chestnut (Goss) landed running. Robbers Ransom (Dittmer) and Trail O` Gold (Campbell) were handy. Gallito (Wright) and Fort Falcon (Bestel) were next best and raced five lengths off the lead. Trail O` Gold went up to take the lead at the 1400m pole. Trail O` Gold was two lengths clear as they went through the 1000m zone and he went at a good pace. Trail O` Gold was a length in front with 400m to go and he was doing well keeping the field away. Trail O` Gold was still a length clear at the 200m mark and he went on to hold on and win from Gallito and then came Fort Falcon. Trail O` Gold is by Gold Press out of a Rakeen mare, Trail Queen, Trainer/Owner: Doug Campbell. Breeder: Sugar Hill Stud.

RACE 5: NOVICE PLATE 1600M

Ser De Carrera (Kotzen) was slow off. D Mark (Bosch) got the best break. Perfect Obsession (Brown) and Al Xaar (Goodman) were prominent. Ranieri (Drier) and Roman Baton (Charles Laird) were further back and had three lengths to trace down. Al Xaar hit the front at the 400m pole from Roman Baton who was running on well. Al Xaar had the lead 200m from home with a one length lead. Al Xaar folded under pressure and Keen Warrior (Rivalland) ran on well and he won going away from Roman Baton and then came Al Xaar. Mrs Bouquet (Whitehead) jumped the line well. How Bizare (Pat & Mike Riley) and La Ballerina (Howells) were in touch. Barahin`s Jewel (Drier) and Royal Luxury (Charles Laird) were next best and they were four lengths off the lead. How Bizare went up to hit the front at the top of the lane with 400m to go. How Bizare was two lengths clear at the 200m mark from Outcome (Miller) who was out chasing her home. Outcome ran on and she just got up to win well. This was a top effort from Outcome who won from How Bizare and Miss Zara (Dixon) was third. Outcome is by Muhtafal out of an Elliodor mare, Culminate. Trainer: Mike Miller. Breeder: Peter Brown. Port O` Call (Howells) responded smartly. Amazing Ash (Rivalland) and Wings Of Change (Puller) were in the early vanguard. Moon Star (Dittmer) and Selfish (Drier) were in behind them and they had four lengths to make up. Amazing Ash went up to the lead as they went through the 800m zone. Selfish hit the front at the 400m pole and she was under pressure from a flying Scarlet Ribbon (Moore). Scarlet Ribbon ran on well and she took the lead at the 200m mark and she held on to win from Moon Star and then came Correct Me Not (Moore). Scarlet Ribbon is by Rambo Dancer out of a Secret Prospector mare, Wild Scarlet. Trainer: Ivan Moore. Breeder: Kildaragh Park Stud. Owners: Mrs S Westwater, Mr G J Westwater.

Petite Paddy (Moore) was very slow off. Hermana (Drier) was quick to break the line. See The Sun (Pat & Mike Riley) and Sans Frontieres (Dixon) were with the lead. Wait `N See (Campbell) and Royal Triumph (Rivalland) were further back with seven lengths to make up. Hermana had the lead by a length with 400m to go. Hermana still held on to the lead by a length at the 200m pole from Wait `N See. Wait `N See ran on and she went on to win going away and cause a huge upset as she won with no form at all. Dolphin Lady (Brown) was second and then came Hermana. Wait `N See is by Rocky Marriage out of a Brother Philips mare, No Reply. Trainer: Doug Campbell. Breeder: Sugar Hill Stud. Owners: Messrs T T Allan and Douglas Campbell.

In a very untidy start, Greek Hero (Goss) got the best beginning. Russian Marriage (Werner) and Afgan Hound (Pappas) were disputing the lead. Lemongrass (Roberts) and Laureus (Rivalland) were next best and had five lengths to make up. Greek Hero was a length clear as they turned for home with 400m to go. London Retreat (Whitehead) came home well and he hit the front at the 200m pole. Afgan Hound ran on well and he came back to just get up and win from London Retreat and then came Greek Hero. Afgan Hound is by Royal Flo out of an All Fired Up mare, Bound To Hound. Trainer/Owner/Breeder: Mike Pappas.
