Grace Stables Eyes Further Success At KZN Sale
Grace Stables principal Winnie Fourie will present three yearlings at this year's KZN Yearling Sale as she continues to build on a promising record in the sales ring.
After returning to South Africa following 14 years in the United States, Fourie spent five years at Scott Bros before establishing her own operation. Since making her KZN Sale debut in 2022, Grace Stables has offered eight yearlings, producing three winners, two BSA Juvenile Bonus winners and two placed runners.
The draft is headed by Lot 91, a colt by Danon Platina named Mlungu out of Rise. A strong, robust first foal, he combines plenty of power with a pedigree that features black-type performers Fight Song and Waiting On Summer.
Lot 152 - Mighty Mouse, is a colt by Declaration Of Peace out of African Angel. Named in memory of the late Tony Jilinski, he is a scopey individual with a strong hindquarter and an athletic walk. He is a half-brother to Abbadon and Tommy Greaney - a Juvenile winner and Gr 3 placed.
Completing the draft is Lot 171 by Declarationofpeace, an eye-catching colt described by Fourie as a striking individual with plenty of size and scope. Standing over plenty of ground, he is a fluent mover and comes from a family that continues to show promise, with his unraced full brother reportedly held in high regard by connections.
