Breeding quality racehorses remains the driving force behind Gary and Colleen De Klerk's Summerview Stud, a boutique Thoroughbred operation committed to producing champions and achieving breeding excellence.
That commitment will once again be on display when Summerview Stud presents a select draft of four yearlings at the KZN Yearling Sale, scheduled to take place at Suncoast Casino, Durban on Thursday, 2 July 2026.
Despite offering a compact consignment, Summerview Stud's draft boasts strong pedigrees, proven female families and plenty of appeal for buyers seeking quality individuals capable of performing on the racetrack.
Lot 57 is a filly by Chimichuri Run out of Master Keys. The dam earned black-type credentials with placings in both Grade 2 and Grade 3 company, adding considerable depth to the page.
Lot 74 is an attractive filly by Eden Roc. She is a half-sister to Listed-placed Green Lantern as well as seven-time winner Netherby Hall, offering buyers access to a proven winning pedigree.
Lot 124 is a daughter of Danon Platina out of a half-sister to Joy And Peace, bringing further black-type influence to an already appealing pedigree.
Lot 134 is another filly by Chimichuri Run and hails from the successful family of Tala and Roseate Wood, a pedigree that has produced quality performers over the years.
With four well-bred fillies representing established sire lines and accomplished female families, Summerview Stud appears well positioned to make a strong impression when buyers gather at Suncoast for the 2026 KZN Yearling Sale.
