Bowman and Teetan Join Star-Studded 2024 LONGINES IJC Line-Up

The 2024 LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship (IJC) at Happy Valley promises to be a spectacle of elite riding talent, with Hugh Bowman and Karis Teetan officially joining Zac Purton and Vincent Ho as Hong Kong's four representatives. Set for Wednesday, December 4, the IJC will once again showcase some of the world’s finest jockeys in a thrilling evening of racing.

Zac Purton, crowned 2023/24 Hong Kong Champion Jockey, leads the local lineup with an impressive record that earned him the first of four berths allocated to Hong Kong-based riders. Vincent Ho, who claimed the 2023 IJC title in a dazzling display of skill, will return to defend his crown.

Hugh Bowman, the 2016 IJC champion, and Karis Teetan, who captured the title in 2019, complete the formidable quartet. As of November 20, Bowman has 19 wins this season, while Teetan follows closely with 15, reflecting their consistency and prowess in Hong Kong racing.
