Starting September 1, 2024, races from the Selangor Turf Club will be broadcasted and available for totalisator betting in South Africa through 4Racing Proprietary Limited.

4Racing Proprietary Limited, a company registered under South African law, manages the distribution and licensing of the Racing Feed and holds the license to conduct totalisator betting within the country.

This new agreement with 4Racing marks a significant milestone for the Selangor Turf Club, as it allows South African racing enthusiasts to place bets through commingling. Commingling involves merging wagering pools from different totalisator organizations into a single pool, leading to more stable dividends and potentially higher payouts for customers due to the larger betting pool.

Of South African interest, Devon Pretorius, the former Cape Town caller, is now at Selangor as a race caller and presenter. 

The Selangor Turf Club's races have been well-received by international clubs and racing jurisdictions around the globe. With the addition of South Africa, the Club continues to expand its global reach, successfully simulcasting its races to numerous countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and North America.
