Kennedy NZ title race is a close affair

The race for the Jockey Premiership is intensifying, with Warren Kennedy and Michael McNab locked in a close battle at the top.

Warren Kennedy has had an exceptional season, leading in stakes with $5.5 million and securing 17 Group/Listed race wins—the highest among all jockeys. The South African jockey has adapted seamlessly to riding across the country, earning three Group One victories this season. Kennedy is aiming to clinch the premiership for the first time.

Michael McNab, on the other hand, is maintaining his remarkable form from recent years. He boasts the second-best strike rate among the top 20 jockeys, at 5.58. As the reigning back-to-back premiership winner, McNab has claimed five Group/Listed race wins this season and is striving for a third consecutive title.
