Barbara Kennedy opens Stables in New Zealand

Former South African trainer and wife of Warren Kennedy has announced an opening of stables in New Zealand.

Barbara trained in conjunction with brother Wayne Badenhorst in South Africa at Summerveld before Warren Kennedy made the family move to New Zealand. With Barbara in tow, Warren has taken the New Zealand jockey ranks by storm as their current leading rider. Barbara left the South African training partnership with her brother.

The newly formed Kennedy Racing, as it is known, will train out of Byerley Park and can be contacted on [email protected]
