Calvin Habib rode 3 in a row including a four timer, that's 4 wins in total in a 5 race stretch to dominate Turffontein's race card.

All Habib's winners were on Tony Peter runners who was in equally cracking form. The recently retained stable jockey for the yard had a field day including taking out the Lebelo Sprint, the main event of the day. The Grade 3 win came on the smart Rulership but it was also a quick Golden Sickle who beat home odds on favourite Troppo Veloce in the race prior that gave him as much pleasure for long time Peter supporters Suzette and Bassie Viljoen. The race was on in a time of 57.22s. The Viljoen's also had another winner on the card in Electric Gold who won the Pinnacle Stakes over 1800m from runner up Good Council with the 2022 Summer Cup runner up Second Base finishing well back. The Klassen runner was some 11 lengths. behind in fact, carrying top weight.

Habib finished it all off with Power Broker in a landmark day for the young jockey.
