Callum Murray, the young man who hit the headlines with three Group 1 winners on one day and an abbreviated albeit successful trip to Hong Kong, sadly took a spill at Fairview on Friday.

The Tara Laing stable jockey was about one of her horses Espera in the third after ducking and clipping heels.

Murray was rushed to hospital for a check up and came up with a badly bruised knee but nothing else.

Murray will fight another day but his return date is yet to be determined
