Cape based trainer, Justin Snaith made a great start to the weeks racing on the polytrack in Port Elizabeth yesterday. His satellite establishment turned out no less than four winners, and had one placing as well.
After making a relatively slow start to the day's proceedings, mainly due to the fact that they had just one runner in the first three races of the afternoon, the Snaith stable went into full throttle. They lead in the winners of races four (Pataudi), six (On The Side), seven (Bella's Empire) and eight (Steel Magnolia), which were all ridden to victory by former champion jockey, Andrew Fortune who even after all these years in the saddle, still makes it look as easy as ever.
This could very well be a trainer/jockey combination worth following in future race meetings on not just the poly in PE, but countrywide to. Punters, look out for these two names whenever you open your racing guides from now on.
